Rebecca enters.
Rebecca: Good morning, everyone!
Ryan, Tony, and Amy: Good morning!
Rebecca: As you know, we are in the introductory phase of a
new partnership with “Fashion Magazine”. We need to
seize the opportunity to make a strong frst impression.
Amy, tell me you have something useful to contribute.
Amy: Yes, of course, Rebecca. My team’s priority is to
brainstorm with sales and marketing on a new line of
products to present during “Hong Kong Fashion Week”.
Rebecca: I hope you have something better to show than the last
time, and that you make the due date for a change.
Ryan: You won’t be disappointed, Rebecca! Amy has shown
she can respond quickly to events as they come up.
(In a very firtatious tone)
Rebecca: I don’t think you could ever disappoint me, Ryan.
(Whispering to Ryan)
Tony: Well, this is an awkward situation.
Rebecca: Did you have something to add, Tony?
Tony: Um, no, I mean, yes! Let’s transition back to our
working environment…
Rebecca: Well, let’s hear it…
Tony: My sales team has been working with Ryan’s marketing
team on a market analysis and a projection of market
trends and sales forecasts for each of our business lines.
Rebecca: Ryan, handsome, anything to add?
Ryan: Yes, Rebecca. We are almost fnished with the
comprehensive marketing plan that Tony mentioned,
that includes the new product line that Amy is
working on. I will also send you the presentation for
“Hong Kong Fashion Week” for your review. Since we
have a lot going on right now, I suggest I send you a
daily and weekly status report to keep you updated
on our progress.
Rebecca: I couldn’t agree more, Ryan.
